Learning about Marxist-Humanism:
The Philosophic Comprehension of History Illuminates Today’s Crises: The Revolutionary Archives of Raya Dunayevskaya
Who are Karl Marx and Raya Dunayevskaya and what, if anything, do their ideas have to do with the problems facing the world today? Dunayevskaya’s study of Marx made explicit his philosophy of revolution in permanence that can give direction in battling the crises affecting our age, including catastrophic climate change, economic chaos, the anti-humanism experienced by women, workers, and people of color worldwide; as well as the rise of counter-revolutions affecting the Arab Spring that have engendered an unprecedented refugee disaster
The last writings of Marx have been neglected. How do they point to a liberatory trail for our age to follow?
